I agree with your well thought out comments on Adams. I like him too and find him to be too unsung. However I think people would be better off reading the book than seeing this series.

They had two very different spirits IMO. The series seemed all about the flaws. It did not rest until every founder was shown to be dysfunctional or just weird.

One of the things I found most interesting about the interview was how impressed Stein was with Sproul.

I’ve not seen the movie yet either, but hope to do so someday, Lord willing.

Howdy Kevin,

I’m glade you liked the video. I can’t watch it without chuckling either, though for different reasons.

Here are just a few tips to help you “get it.”

1. Ministry of Science Propaganda (in Soviet style lettering)
2. “The Machine” is a HAL 9000/Omnidroid mix, unveiled in King Kong fashion.
3. Christopher Hitchens’ headband.
4. Darwin barfing overboard.
5. “Big Gadget, this is Little Tool, we’ve got ourselves a situation…”
6. The idea that science will be the demise of religion generally, and Christianity specifically has been around for at least 400 years…And yet here we are…
7. That point is driven home (and rubbed in) by the historical overview.

But the most telling point is the portrayal of the condescending superiority and hatred that is demonstrated by so many atheists. Much like that in your comment, Kevin.

And if your wondering, I didn’t just make up the atheist comments above. All were lifted directly from Richard Dawkins’ blog.

By the way, did you happen to watch any of the Ben Stein interview? If you can articulate any thoughts about the issues raised therein with any measure of civility, I’d be more than happy to hear them.

I am an atheist, and I thought the rap video was hilarious. It’s clear to us non-IDiots that the video was meant to parody your whiny bleatings about being persecuted by an Evil Atheist Conspiracy (TM).

Scientists (real ones, not Discovery Institute poseurs) rejected creationism long ago because it contradicts observable reality.

Your “Gospel of Christ” is a bunch of fairy-tale nonsense.
